Designing 7-10 PDHPE unit frameworks – Surry Hills

Join our immersive workshop on designing dynamic PDHPE unit plans for Years 7–10. Together, we’ll unpack the core course outcomes and content and explore how to effectively integrate key focus areas with meaningful teaching and learning strategies.
This hands-on session will guide you through the process of creating your own Stage 4 or Stage 5 units using practical templates and tools. You’ll leave with your content organised, a draft scope and sequence, and a clear understanding of how to program for both skill and knowledge development.
Workshop sessions include:
- Syllabus assessment requirements and implications
- Content mapping
- Teaching and learning activity considerations
- Model processes to embed skills outcomes into teaching and learning sequences
The workshop includes a range of practical resources such as:
- Content links K-12
- Planning templates
- Sample scope and sequence
- Faculty planning documents for mapping and sequencing content into units
