DESCRIPTION:*SOLD OUT* \nACHPER NSW offers a comprehensive Stage 6 HMS professional learning program\, co-designed and delivered by ACHPER NSW staff and experienced teachers.  \nProgramming Year 12 HMS is a practical workshop co-designed with experienced teachers.  \nJoin us to start planning your Year 12 HMS program with a focus on HSC success.    \nExplore evidence-based programming strategies that create effective learning and deepen student understanding. Examine how cognitive load theory can inform program structures and create optimal learning opportunities.  \nYou will create learning maps identifying knowledge students must build in Year 11 to be best prepared for Year 12.  \nWorkshop sessions include:    \n\nYear 12 HMS school-based assessment requirements and implications \nExploring new and updated content  \nSequencing learning with the HSC exam in mind \nUnderstanding how students learn most effectively \nDeveloping learning maps to optimise success in the HSC.  \n\nYou will be provided with a range of templates and resources including:   \n\nSample scope and sequences \nSample unit frameworks \nIdeas for depth studies aligned to content.  \n\nWho should attend?
