DESCRIPTION:ACHPER NSW offers a comprehensive Stage 6 HMS professional learning program\, co-designed and delivered by ACHPER NSW staff and experienced teachers. \nAssessing Year 12 HMS is a new one-day workshop co-designed with experienced teachers. \nJoin us to start designing your Year 12 HMS assessment program. \nExplore key planning considerations including NESA’s school-based assessment requirements and task design that addresses weightings between Year 12 HMS skills and knowledge outcomes. \nReview ways to schedule depth studies to create teaching efficiencies and build in student choice\, while best preparing students for the HSC exam. \nWorkshop sessions include: \n\nUnpacking Year 12 HMS course outcomes\nDesigning Year 12 school assessment tasks\nDesigning processes for formative assessment\nDepth studies assessment considerations\nAssessment schedule planning.\n\nYou will be provided with a range of sample resources including: \n\nassessment schedules\nassessment tasks and notifications\nmarking criteria\nformative assessment recording templates.\n\nWho should attend? Any PDHPE teachers interested in teaching the Stage 6 HMS course. \nDETAILS\nDate: 16 October 2025\nTime: 8.30am-3.30pm\nVenue: Online\nRegister: at link below.
