DESCRIPTION:ACHPER NSW offers a comprehensive Stage 6 HMS professional learning program to help teachers. \nDesigning Year 11 HMS unit plans is a one-day workshop co-designed and delivered by ACHPER NSW staff and experienced teachers. \nJoin us to unpack the Year 11 HMS course outcomes and content.  We’ll explore sample unit plans that cover focus area content while embedding skills into teaching and learning activities. \nThe workshop is practical\, and you’ll start creating Year 11 Focus Area 1 or Focus Area 2 units of work using our new programming templates and resources \nWorkshop sessions include: \n\nCritiquing sample unit plans\nUnpacking syllabus outcomes using backward design process\nCreating learning goals and identifying evidence of learning\nTeaching and learning activity considerations\nModelling processes to embed skill development into teaching and learning sequences\nDesigning learning sequences using existing program resources\nCreating new activities using AI.\n\nWho should attend?
